Conventions and Contests

The busy convention season is beginning to wind down, and I am feeling it.  However, I have four fantastic events remaining on my calendar.

So, where will I be for the rest of the year?

On August 26-27th, I will be at the Wolf Creek Library in Atlanta, Ga attending OnyxCon. This is an exceptional FREE event featuring creatives of all types. I was fortunate enough to attend the Sankofa event they held in February. It was a remarkable experience and extremely well attended. Pack up the family and come out to meet some exceptional artist, authors, graphic designers, film producers, and more! Visit their WEBSITE for more information.

ONYXCON-2017

In September (1st-4th), I will be attending DragonCon. If you know anything about this phenomenal convention, you understand how excited I am to be a part of it this year. In fact, I am not only attending, I have the honor of being on a High Fantasy panel with Christopher Paolini, Michael Livingston, and Mercedes Lackey. For more information, visit their WEBSITE.

What is Science Fantasy?

Science fantasy is a mixed genre within the umbrella of speculative fiction which simultaneously draws upon and/or combines tropes and elements from both science fiction and fantasy. Where science fiction does not permit the existence of fantasy or supernatural elements, science fantasy explicitly relies upon them.
