I’m excited to announce that the audio book for Rites of Heirdron is live on audible and the second novel Orbs of Trenihgea is available for pre-order on Amazon! It has been a busy year, but both novels released by the deadline.
I am extremely elated to announce the coming audiobook for the Science Fantasy Romance Rites of Heirdron (book I)!
Back in December 2016, I decided to publish Rites of Heirdron in audiobook format. However, there was only one narrator that I wanted for the voice of Zrahnz Uleryn (and the compelling cast). I fell in love with Victor Bevine’s narrations listening to the Drizzt series from R.A. Salvatore. All of his character depictions and emotional aspects he brings forth are captivating, drawing you further into the plot and characterization.
After listening to his narration (and acting), I wanted him to narrate my novels as well. Albeit, I wasn’t certain if he would accept such a small project or have the time.
When he responded with a yes, the same day, I was ecstatic! I always remain professional, but it was hard not to fangirl just a little when talking with him.
We had a few setbacks (he is so busy) and a delay, but the complete audiobook will be out very soon on audible! I think I am fangirling a little right now.
Dear Readers, tonight with us is an intergalactic adventurer, here to tell us about his home-world and adventures.
Tell us a little about where you grew up. What was it like there?
Where I grew up? Well, I doubt that you could understand my world or what is left of it. The capital city is beautiful. There are rivulets, hillocks, large lakes, and gorgeous scented flowers that perfume the air. It appears to go on endlessly until you unveil the illusion. The Uleryn capital is all that remains of my world. My planet, Triaxeyn was nearly decimated during a biological attack shortly after my birth. All that remains is protected within a dome. That’s the truth of my world and of my life.
Did you have any favorite toys as a child? Any cherished memories?
It’s not the toys or frivolous items that I think of fondly. It was the…
I am dedicating this post to an upcoming release. The Science Fantasy Romance novel Rites of Heirdron is a love of mine that was almost derailed. This duology was inspired by another novella series that I was co-authoring. It was not the content or development of that series that I was assisting to create; it was the lack of that development. It was frustrating.
I took that spark of inspiration and created an entire universe and a unique cast of characters that I immediately fell in love with. In the beginning, it was a story just for me. I enjoyed the subtle nuances and breathing life into my character creations. However, the more I shared with others, the more I was prompted to publish. It was not unlike my first novel, The Rise of Nazil.
Just as with all of my writing, I have characters illustrated or purchase stock photos that resemble how I imagine them. It was the same with Rites. My great friend, Julie Nicholls convinced me to move beyond just that image and create something more. As I designed the poster (or told her my thoughts and left the designing to her expertise), the characters came more alive. Once she asked to feature her illustration of my poster in her fantasy magazine, the surreal was no longer that. That is when Rites of Heirdron truly existed as more than just a story for me; I desired to share it with everyone.
Although there have been many obstacles and unforeseen complications, Rites of Heirdron will release in 2017. That is an exciting proclamation for me, and even more so with the completion of Rites of Heirdron II (which I will be placing in the hands of my editor, Morgan Smith, soon). The duology will be available in 2017, and I could not be happier.
Please enjoy a sneak peek of Rites of Heirdron. The Prelude and first two chapters are posted HERE for your reading pleasure.
